Oasis Mindfulness Clinic

The Oasis Mindfulness Clinic provides eight-week training in Mindfulness-based Approaches (MBAs) to help participants move beyond stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, overwhelm, self-doubt, cravings, chronic pain and other challenging behaviours.

Mindfulness is about learning to pay attention to our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and to the world around us.

Research shows that Mindfulness is enormously empowering for clients with chronic pain, hypertension, heart disease, cancer and gastrointestinal disorders, as well as for psychological problems such as anxiety, panic, stress and relapse prevention for clients in remission from depression or recovery from addiction.

Mindfulness training is offered in the spirit of dana (generosity) and, as with all of our services in The Oasis Centre, Mindfulness training is offered on a donation bases.
